Why “Just Use AI” is Bad Web Advice

AI can be a powerful tool in web development and content creation. It can speed up workflows, help brainstorm ideas, and even generate code snippets or design suggestions. But it is not a substitute for understanding your audience, your business, or your goals.

There is a growing trend of businesses relying entirely on AI to write website copy, generate layouts, or even make design decisions. The problem? AI cannot think strategically. It does not know what makes your business unique. It cannot empathize with your customer or prioritize what matters most to them.

The results of this shortcut are often easy to spot. Generic messaging. Clunky layouts. Content that looks like it came from a template and sounds like it came from a robot. Even worse, it misses key details that matter in your specific industry or region.
