  • Includes a set number of hours for content tweaks, new sections, and minor feature additions each month, plus priority response when something breaks.

Prepaid Maintenance Retainer

Ongoing website maintenance and support (“Maintenance Services”) are provided under prepaid retainer terms. Retainers are billed in advance for a defined period (for example, 3, 6, 9, or 12 months). The retainer is earned at the start of the term and is non‑refundable. Maintenance Services may include updates to CMS and plugins, security and performance monitoring, minor content changes, and general support as agreed in writing. Services are only provided during active, fully paid retainer periods. If Client chooses to use any third‑party financing or pay‑over‑time option, all repayment obligations are between Client and the financing provider; Tako Mojo, Inc. is paid at the start of the term and is not responsible for Client’s financing arrangement.

Nope! While we’re based in Kea’au, we work with clients across all islands and beyond. Zoom and Loom let us collaborate no matter where you are.

We make distance collaboration painless:
Loom Video Walkthroughs – Instead of long emails, we record quick screen-share videos explaining progress, issues, or next steps. You can watch and reply on your schedule.
Figma for Design Reviews – You’ll see live design drafts, leave comments right on the mockups, and approve layouts before development begins.
Zoom or In-Person (if local) – We can schedule calls or meet on Hawai‘i Island if needed. If inter-island travel is needed we can discuss. This is not a problem in most cases.

Yes, but with some guardrails. You’ll have access to make day-to-day updates like changing text, swapping images, writing blog posts, and managing products (if e-commerce is enabled).
However:
Kadence Pro License: Your site uses our Kadence Pro license, so you won’t be able to modify layouts or Pro block settings yourself. Any structural or design updates should go through Tako Mojo to keep everything compliant and working correctly.
Custom Themes & Plugins: If your site includes custom-coded elements, those can’t safely be edited through the dashboard. We maintain those pieces for you to avoid breaking functionality.
Safe DIY Zone: We’ll show you exactly what you can edit confidently, and we offer support plans for anything outside that zone so changes are quick, consistent, and secure.
This approach keeps your site lean, stable, and future-proof while still giving you control over your core content.

We specialize in WordPress with Kadence Pro for full-page editing, giving you a site that’s easy to manage without sacrificing flexibility or performance. But, custom plugins and themes are an option as well.
